These terms describe use of chordgen. By using the site, you accept them.

Free local tools

Manual chord generation, playback and MIDI export remain free. They are creative aids provided as is, without a promise that a progression will suit a particular project.

Optional AI credits

When paid AI is shown as available, the offer is a one-time US$9 purchase for 25 successful AI requests, with no automatic renewal. Each successful request uses 1 credit and returns 3 variations. Google sign-in is required so credits and request status stay with the purchasing account. Payment return alone does not add credits; credits are granted only after signed payment confirmation.

AI suggestions are starting points. You review them before applying them. A delivered result is available for recovery for 5 minutes after settlement, so save or export anything you want to keep. This is not long-term AI history or storage.

Failures, uncertain requests and refunds

A request is not promised to be free merely because the browser loses contact. An uncertain request remains pending while its status is checked, and the same request must not be resubmitted automatically. Confirmed provider failures are handled under the service's credit rules. Your music

You may use progressions and MIDI exports in your own projects. chordgen does not claim rights over your music. AI output can resemble common musical patterns, so you remain responsible for reviewing how you use it.

Fair use and availability

Do not disrupt, overload or abuse the site. Features may change or occasionally be unavailable. Nothing on the site is professional advice.
