Take it into your DAW
- Generate a sketch and use Play to hear the parts. Stop ends playback; changing settings also stops it.
- Download MIDI and import it into your music software. The type-1 file has a tempo track plus separate pad, bass and arpeggio tracks at 480 ticks per quarter note.
- Assign your own instruments, add drums, shape the arrangement and export audio from your DAW. The MIDI file contains notes and timing, not recorded audio.
Keep the timing with your idea
The CSV contains one row per note, with its part, MIDI channel (1–3), pitch, velocity, start and duration in ticks, beats and seconds. It also records the root, mode, tempo and seed. Use it to inspect timing or rebuild the idea in another tool.
Generation, preview and file creation run in this browser. This tool does not upload your settings or use an AI service. It uses common diatonic patterns, with no reference to the Bobby Cole recording; a seed is a repeatable sketch identifier, not proof of musical uniqueness.

Is this the Bobby Cole song download?
The Bandcamp button takes you to the artist’s official track page. The MIDI and CSV buttons export only the separate ChordGen sketch you generate here. They do not contain that recording or a transcription of its melody.
Is the track copyright-free?
The official Bandcamp page displayed “all rights reserved” when checked on October 10, 2026. It does not establish a copyright-free or blanket game/video license. Ask the rights holder about your specific use.
What should I expect from the synth preview?
It plays the generated notes once, at your chosen tempo, using a quiet pad, bass and arpeggio. It is a writing aid without drums, mastering or an audio download. Browser sound settings may affect playback; MIDI and CSV export do not require audio permission.
Why did the export buttons become unavailable?
Changing a setting makes the old sketch out of date. Generate again to align the displayed chords, preview and downloaded files with your current settings. Empty, fractional or out-of-range values show a specific error.
